I highly recommend the Chelsea zoom room for its professionalism and enjoyable atmosphere.My dog is enjoying agility training and trick class. In addition, there are special events, such as Puplates. The staff is very accommodating and highly knowledgeable. The Chelsea zoom room is a wonderful place to bring your dog for exercise and training.
I’ve taken my tiny, reactive dog to obedience, tricks, agility, and pup-lates. They’re all wonderful classes. Agility is particularly great for winter; I’m happy to have discovered this large indoor playground where my reactive pup can run around in a focused way, by himself, with a trainer. It was also so cute to see my dad (my dog’s loving grandpaw) so excited to run with his beloved grandpup through the course. The Tricks class was also so fun, it’s awesome that they offer one-off tricks classes since most training schools offer a multi-week tricks course and my schedule does not align with a weekly course. I can watch his little brain working to figure out what to do next. It’s very cute and great bonding.
Zoom Room is excellent! After moving to a new neighborhood, our very sweet and social dog developed leash reactivity. We started working with her at Zoom Room about a month ago and we're so happy with the progress she's made. The tools and advice we've received from the trainers have helped us tremendously. During our initial assessment, she was barking non stop and was very fearful of the fake dog. Now, we've been able to walk past him no problem! She is so much more confident now! We look forward to continuing her training and hope to try some classes some day!
The Zoom Room was a great discovery. The room is spacious, which is rare for the neighborhood, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the prices are reasonable and the facility is immaculately clean. My dog loves going there. I am so glad I discovered it!
We've attended the obedience and agility classes at Zoom Room, and our puppy loves it! All the trainers are so helpful and friendly, and the equipment and space are great. We all look forward to our classes there!
Zoom Room has been great! The facility is big, clean, and organized. The trainers are kind and super helpful. After only a few sessions, they all know my dog, his quirks, what we're working on, and how to interact with him. We're already seeing that our pup is doing much better! Love the classes and playgroups!
Best decision I’ve ever made was to start agility training with my dog. Zoom Room was the perfect place to do so. So welcoming, so helpful. Fantastic experience! Can’t wait to see what is to come.
Update:A few months later and we're still having fun at Zoom Room! They've taken in some feedback from customers and have definietly acted on it which is awesome. Now, there are classes for beginners all the way until advanced. They also time the runs for each of the dogs to make sure everyone has an equal amount of time. Overall, I don't really have anything bad to say about Zoom Room, they're amazing and we have so much fun!---My dog is obsessed with this place and the people that work here. We go to Zoom Room for agility classes, and it's such a fun activity for my dog and me. It allows us to build a better bond through handling and allows my dog to be enriched in a unique way. They also have a great selection of treats and toys that are decently priced. As for the staff, they are so kind, patient, and knowledgeable with all of the dogs. They get to know all of the dogs by name as well as their quirks. Other than agility, we've attended one of their social events and it was pretty fun!A bit about our experience:When we first went to zoom room, we scheduled an evaluation for $40. We spent about 30 minutes with a trainer going through the agility course, understanding what level my dog is at, and going through the payment structure. I'll note a single class is very expensive, and it's much worth it to get a class pack instead if you're confident you and your dog want to commit to learning agility. For us, we went with a 10 class pack for $529.After the evaluation, we started taking normal agility classes. The class is split up between 4 dogs, and you each take a turn on the course with warmups and guided tips from the training. None of the dogs are in the gym at the same time, and all of the dogs are sectioned off while waiting for their turn. Ultimately, it may not seem like a lot of time, but after class is over my dog is TIRED.They keep the same schedule every week which is awesome, and class sign-ups are first come first serve. Generally, I book a week in advance with no issues, and often there's availability to book within the same week, especially if I don't choose a popular time.After about a month of weekly classes, my dog is actually getting pretty good at agility, and I'm really proud of her! Hopefully we'll get to advanced agility soon or join the agility league. My only piece of critical feedback is that I wish there was a way for us to join classes where my dog is at a similar level to other dogs. There's the advanced class, but we're not there yet. In the normal agility classes, there are some dogs that need more help, and it feels like they have more time in the gym.
Zoom room has been a game changer for having a dog in the city. The staff is friendly, motivated, and positively-minded. My dog loves agility class. It not only boosts her confidence and tires her out but it’s been great to have an air conditioned, dog friendly place to take her on all those days when it’s too hot or rainy to get out for a proper walk. I really appreciate what Zoom Room is doing for the dog community here in NYC!
My pup, Maximillion and I are new to zoom room Chelsea but we love it so far. All of the staff are sweet and knowledgeable! Max is having a ton of fun in his agility classes and I love the store in the front of the facility. The prices are pretty decent. My only stress is that the class prices are high. It's fair enough, The space is gorgeous and the product is exemplary, I just hope I'll be able to continue to afford it.
The trainers here are so kind and professional. They really love and understand each dog. They manage to personalize every class, and help the dog parents as much as the dogs. We have our dog in the beginners program and she's benefited so much! She's better on the leash, knows her basic commands, and is less reactive to noises and strangers.
My dog has been having a blast at the Zoom Room! She has always been a very athletic dog, so the agility class really helps to get out some of that energy. She tends to be a bit of a nervous dog, and I can see her confidence building. We love it here!
The Zoom Room has been absolute game changer for us and my puppy gets so excited every time we go. The staff is amazing and always goes above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The events they host are so much fun and really give my puppy a chance to socialize. We love Zoom Room! We make the trek over from Brooklyn because we love how big and clean the space is. Every instructor I’ve encountered has been warm, patient and knowledgeable. We are always greeted with a smile when we walk through the door. The class packages are flexible. I initially intended to bring my dog in for agility. After she showed no interest during her first class, I was able to easily book obedience classes instead. I am thinking about taking her to a pupilates or tricks class in the future. My dog is wagging her tail and excited to come every time.
